A chronicling of my life and my efforts to navigate the world in which we live without too many broken limbs along the way.
He was a close family friend. I remember a number of excellent times with him over the years. I already miss him dearly, but as Dr. Seuss said: Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. I shed a tear not in sadness for his death, but in gratitude for the impact he’s made not only in my family, but in the families of hundreds he’s met. His legacy lives on in my heart and the hearts of the people he’s touched. Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. I’ll miss you, buddy. May angels lead you in.
